Cold cap comforter

Cold cap comforter – amazing, amazing, amazing!!

I’ve recently finished 12 weeks of chemotherapy and decided to use a cold cap to try to keep my hair. I was worried about the coldness and pain I’d been warned about, and during the first session the “brain freeze” was horrible, it made me feel dizzy and gave me a headache that lasted the full 3 hours until the cap was removed.

For the second session, I was really dreading it, but I was given a cold cap comforter to wear and oh my god, it was a game changer. I felt no pain, no dizziness, and was able to relax the whole time. I’d even say I barely felt the cold at all.

Now, 12 weeks later, I still have all my hair, thanks to the comforter. Without it, I honestly think I would have given up on using the cold cap!!
